These marble chopstick rests are so fabulous! They look beautifully translucent. My pair's main color resembles jade. Unlike my other ceramic and acrylic chopstick stands that only hold one pair on each, each of these has two nicely curved valleys to seat two pairs with no cramped appearance. The dips are wide enough to hold chopsticks or the handles of forks, knives, soup spoons, etc. I like the dimensions - at approximately 1.53" X 3.54" X 0.69" (height). They are compact and space-saving on the table by the side of the dinner plates. There is no rocking from side to side due to the double-valley design on the rest.

They will bring character and elegance to our dining table. Its usage goes beyond chopsticks as we can use them for other eating utensils as well. Since our dining table is not that "food safe" as I also use it occasionally for crafts, these chopstick holders will keep the eating utensils from getting into contact with possible harmful stuff left on it.

The marble material in itself is so naturally gorgeous. I don't think I can praise that enough. It is also very strong and durable. Each holder is unique with the different vein patterns and color blends. The polish is superbly smooth. The edges have been sanded smooth as well. Looking at them closely, I see that they are not exactly the same size and the chamfered edges do not look like those precisely machined. Instead, they have slight variations which reflect the nature of these being preciously handmade.

They are easy to hand wash, look non-absorbent and stain-resistant. I'll take care of them with hand washing so they will always be available at every meal. These are excellent in quality and craftsmanship with perfect functionality.
