We live in a tropical climate and our house a/c is set to 80 degrees F. Sometimes a little warmer. This keeps the butter nice and soft, but it doesn't melt into a puddle. We just change the water every few days to keep it clean. And it looks nice!
As you can see in the photo I took for you, this butter bell is made of exquisite marble and the perfect table top size for one stick of butter. I find this look very appealing and I would be proud to gift this but nope…I am keeping this because it’s just that lovely! All you do is fill it with one real butter stick once it is soft from sitting out for an hour and use a spoon to fill it-packing the butte in the top part fully. The bottom part you just put a tablespoon of your drinking water in to seal it and voila, you have soft butter ready for the week! I usually change that water daily-.so fast and easy. I love looking at it sitting on the table 24/7. Fabulous in my opinion.
