Another winner from SPESHSTONES! I have several stone products made by this company, and they are all beautiful, high quality objects. These small bowls are made of onyx, called "green" in the options. I'm a huge fan of this gorgeous material, and it's so cool to have a set of three items that can be used or displayed together, admiring the differences from one to the next.
I don't see it mentioned in the product description, but the underside is smooth, just like the part you see. This is great because the bowls won't scratch your surfaces, without needing rubber feet, which would make these a pain to wash. I appreciate this useful detail!
The bowls are somewhat thin, with an alabaster-like glow when held up to the light. At least with this onyx option, I wonder if the light tones might look dingy if displayed against a dark tabletop or counter. Just something to keep in mind with a stone that's a bit translucent.
Shipped quickly, packed carefully, what's not to love? This set would be a great gift for the cooking student or aspiring chef in your life, or as a wedding or housewarming gift. Personally, I'm keeping these for myself, to use for olives on a charcuterie board and to hold votive candles, though they truly have so many potential uses.
Possibly my favorite SPESHSTONES product so far. I highly recommend this company's work.
The bowls are gorgeous! Sadly a little smaller than expected! I ended up using the smallest bowl for rings only ( that’s all that fits) on my nightstand. If you’re looking for catch all… these are too small.. the medium bowl only fits one or two key fobs. The largest can only fit my house keys and headphones. Great quality just wish they were efficiently sized
I ordered these bowls in green as I already own a set of two stone cups (the size of tea light holders) made of a different stone but in the same green and brown color palette. The bowls are small but very functional. They could be used for serving sauces, dips, condiments, small candy or nuts; or as a room decor; or to hold jewellery and other small items.
These dishes are beautiful, quality-made and smoothly polished. They are fragile, though (marble is breakable), so should be handled with care. Recommended.
I ordered these bowls so that I could have some other pieces in the dining room that matched with my vase. This three pack of Verona bowls did not disappoint, as they matched my Verona vase perfectly! The bowls are much more petite than I expected them to be. Make sure you check the dimensions of the bowls before ordering them. The size of these bowls is ideal for kitchen spice bowls. I plan on adding my three main seasonings to the bowls for convenient access while cooking dishes. The material has a lustrous shine to it. The pattern on the dishes is beautiful, as it is made out of natural marble. Due to the small size, the bowls are very lightweight. They are easy to pick up and take seasonings out from. They can also be used for candies or decorations. The price of $27.85 seems like a fair value based on the quality and material. The appearance is classy, beautiful, and elegant.
These bowls are much smaller than expected—closer to ashtray size than serving bowls. They work best for condiments like soy sauce, ketchup, or mustard, not for actual food portions. That said, they’re made from gorgeous marble, heavy, solid, and beautifully crafted. A lovely decorative piece, just be aware of the small size before ordering.

Three bowls in one purchase means a different size for every task — the large 5-inch bowl for snacks, candy, and dry ingredient prep, the medium 4-inch for condiments and dipping, and the small 3-inch for salt, spices, or a jewelry catch-all beside the sink. Each piece is hand-carved from genuine natural marble in one of seven stone colors, making this a set that works as hard on the dining table as it does on a kitchen counter or coffee table.
What This Marble Bowls Set of 3 Includes
- Three graduated sizes in one set — Large: 5"W × 1.3"H · Medium: 4"W × 1"H · Small: 3"W × 0.8"H. The wide shallow form of each bowl makes them ideal for dry ingredient prep, candy and snack serving, condiment display, and decorative use rather than deep liquid or wet ingredient storage
- Hand-carved natural marble — each bowl is carved from a single piece of genuine natural stone. The Green Onyx colorway shows the characteristic banded amber-cream-green veining of Pakistani onyx. The Travertine colorway has warm beige-cream tones with natural fossil pitting. All seven colors carry unique natural surface variation that makes every set one of a kind
- Food safe natural stone — all three bowls are confirmed food safe for dry ingredients, snacks, candy, nuts, and small food items. Wipe clean after food use.
- Shallow wide form — the low height profile of each bowl suits display and serving use. At 1.3" tall the large bowl is wide enough for generous snack and candy serving while sitting flat and visible on a counter or table surface
- 7 natural stone color options — Green Onyx · Beige · Cream Onyx · White · Black · Oceanic · Travertine — each with unique natural veining that means no two sets are identical
Why a Graduated Stone Bowl Set Works Better Than a Single Bowl
The practical advantage of a set of small bowls over a single piece is coverage. The large bowl handles snacks, candy, fruit, and dry ingredient prep. The medium bowl handles condiments, dipping sauces, nuts, and small side servings. The small bowl handles salt, spices, tea bags, jewelry, keys, and any small item that needs a dedicated vessel beside a specific surface. With all three sizes available simultaneously, the right bowl is always at hand for the task — no repurposing a snack bowl for prep or a prep bowl for display.
As a marble bowl set for kitchen counter use, the three graduated sizes create a visual grouping that looks like a considered collection rather than three separate purchased pieces. Arranged in descending size order on a kitchen island or counter, they read as a coordinated natural stone display even when holding different ingredients. The shallow wide form of each bowl — the largest at just 1.3 inches tall — keeps the counter profile low while maximizing the visible stone surface area. This is what makes natural stone bowls work better as decorative stone bowls than deep-walled ceramic bowls — the wide shallow form shows the stone's surface character and veining across the full bowl diameter rather than only on the rim.
As a kitchen bowl set for entertaining, all three sizes work simultaneously at the table — the large bowl for a shared snack, the medium for a dipping condiment, and the small for a finishing salt or sugar alongside a dish. As a serving bowls set for a dinner party or gathering, the graduated sizes allow different courses or condiment types to be served in matched stone vessels at different points of the table without any piece looking out of place. For coffee table and console table styling, the three bowls arranged as a grouping function as a natural stone centerpiece that changes visual character depending on what they hold — fresh fruit, seasonal decorative items, candles, or left empty as a sculptural stone arrangement.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This natural stone bowl set is hand-carved from genuine natural marble and onyx — not ceramic, not resin, not composite stone with a printed surface. Each bowl in the set is carved from a single piece of natural stone, which means the banding, veining, and color variation run through the full thickness of the stone rather than existing only on the surface. The Green Onyx colorway — shown in the size guide product image — is carved from Pakistani green onyx, a calcite-based stone with dramatic banded amber, cream, and green layering formed during geological deposition processes. The warm amber and honey tones are natural mineral deposits rather than dyes or finishes. The Travertine colorway has the characteristic warm beige-cream tone and fossil pitting of genuine travertine stone. The Beige and Cream Onyx colorways have warm neutral stone tones with fine natural veining. White has clean bright marble with subtle natural marking. Black has bold white veining on a deep black base. Oceanic has blue-grey veining on a cream base. Because every piece is carved from genuine natural stone, the exact banding pattern, color intensity, and surface character of your specific set will differ from the product images — that natural variation is what distinguishes a real onyx marble bowl from a manufactured substitute.

How to Care for Your Marble Bowl Set
This natural stone bowl set is hand wash only — do not put any bowl in the dishwasher and do not microwave. For daily cleaning after snack or candy use, wipe each bowl with a soft damp cloth to remove crumbs, dust, and surface residue. For a deeper clean after food contact, apply a small amount of mild, pH-neutral dish soap to a damp cloth, wipe the interior and exterior of each bowl, rinse with a clean damp cloth, and dry immediately with a soft towel. Do not submerge the bowls in water or leave moisture sitting in the bowl interior for extended periods. Avoid acidic cleaners including vinegar, lemon juice, citrus sprays, and bleach — these permanently dull natural marble and onyx surfaces. For the Green Onyx colorway specifically, avoid leaving acidic food items (citrus, vinegar-based dressings) in the bowl for extended periods as the calcite-based onyx surface is more sensitive to acid than standard marble. For the Travertine colorway, the natural surface pitting may collect food residue — use a soft brush with mild soap to clear the pitting when needed. To maintain the natural stone surface long-term, apply a food-safe stone sealer to all three bowls once or twice a year.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Large bowl: 5 inches wide × 1.3 inches tall — the widest and most shallow piece in the set. Best for candy and chocolate display, mixed nuts and snack serving, dry ingredient prep, and as a decorative display bowl for fruit or seasonal items.
- Medium bowl: 4 inches wide × 1 inch tall — a compact serving dish for condiments, dipping sauces, olives, and small side servings. Also works as a jewelry or trinket dish on a nightstand or vanity.
- Small bowl: 3 inches wide × 0.8 inches tall — a pinch dish for finishing salt, ground spices, and tea bags at the kitchen counter. Also works as a ring dish or small catch-all on a bathroom counter or bedside table.
All three bowls have a wide shallow form — the depth at the center of each bowl is shallow relative to the diameter. This makes them better suited to dry ingredient serving and display than deep liquid or wet ingredient storage.
Food and serving use:
- Candy, chocolates, and wrapped sweets — confirmed from the product lifestyle image
- Mixed nuts, dried fruit, and snack mixes
- Finishing salt, sea salt, and kosher salt (small bowl)
- Ground spices and dry herb mixes (small bowl)
- Olives, pickles, and small condiments (medium bowl)
- Fresh fruit — citrus, grapes, cherry tomatoes in the large bowl
- Popcorn and chips in the large bowl for casual serving
Non-food organizational use:
- Jewelry — rings, earrings, and small pieces (small and medium bowls)
- Keys and coins in the entryway (medium bowl)
- Hair ties, bobby pins, and bathroom counter items (small bowl)
- Tea bags, sweetener packets, and coffee bar accessories (small and medium bowls)
Avoid leaving acidic foods (citrus juice, vinegar-based items) sitting in any bowl for extended periods as acid can dull the natural stone surface over time.
Practical notes for food use:
- Best for dry food contact — salt, nuts, candy, dried fruit, snacks, and similar items
- Suitable for fresh fruit display — apples, citrus, grapes, and similar whole fruit
- Avoid leaving acidic foods (citrus segments, vinegar-based dressings, tomato) sitting directly in the bowls for extended periods — acid dulls the natural stone surface over time
- The bowls are not designed for liquid storage — the shallow wide form and natural stone porosity make them unsuitable as soup or liquid serving bowls
- Wipe each bowl clean with a damp cloth after food contact to remove any residue or acidic liquid
- Green Onyx — carved from Pakistani green onyx, a calcite-based stone with dramatic banded amber, cream, and green layering. The banding pattern is formed during geological deposition and runs through the full stone thickness. Green Onyx has a semi-translucent quality when light passes through the stone. Best for boho, eclectic, Mediterranean, and nature-forward interior styles.
- Travertine — a sedimentary stone with warm beige-cream tones and characteristic natural surface pitting. The pitting is a geological feature formed during travertine's natural creation process. Travertine has an earthy, organic character distinct from the banded veining of marble. Best for farmhouse, organic modern, Mediterranean, and warm-toned interior styles.
The other five color options — Beige, Cream Onyx, White, Black, and Oceanic — are carved from different marble and onyx varieties, each with unique natural surface character. Because every piece is cut from a different block of natural stone, no two bowls are identical regardless of color option.
Decorative use ideas:
- Nested empty display: Three natural stone bowls arranged in descending size order on a coffee table or console table read as a sculptural stone collection even when empty
- Seasonal filling: Pine cones in winter, small Easter eggs in spring, seasonal foliage or decorative stones throughout the year
- Candle holders: The large bowl holds a pillar candle or a grouping of votive candles as a centerpiece
- Decorative moss or air plants: The shallow wide form suits low-profile plant displays
- Jewelry display: In a bedroom, the three sizes create a graduated jewelry and trinket storage display
A verified lifestyle image for this product shows the bowls holding wrapped chocolates — confirming their dual function as both a serving piece and a display object.
Cleaning routine:
- After food use: Wipe each bowl with a soft damp cloth to remove crumbs, salt residue, and food particles
- Deeper clean: Apply a small amount of mild, pH-neutral dish soap to a damp cloth — wipe interior and exterior of each bowl, rinse with a clean damp cloth, and dry immediately
- Travertine pitting: Use a soft brush with mild soap to clear any food residue from the natural surface pitting — particularly after salt or spice use
- Do not: Submerge in water, use the dishwasher, or apply vinegar, citrus spray, lemon juice, or bleach
- Green Onyx care: The calcite-based onyx is more sensitive to acid than standard marble — wipe promptly after any acidic food contact
- Annual maintenance: Apply a food-safe stone sealer to all three bowls once or twice a year to maintain the natural stone surface
Why it works as a gift:
- It is a complete set — three sizes in one purchase means the recipient has a small, medium, and large stone bowl without needing to source them separately
- The 7 color options make it easy to match different kitchen and home interior styles
- Natural stone reads as a considered, lasting gift — the set improves with age rather than degrading like plastic or ceramic with a printed finish
- The graduated sizes work as both a kitchen tool and a decorative object — suitable for a kitchen-focused recipient and a home decor-focused recipient equally
This decorative stone bowl set works particularly well as:
- Housewarming gift for a new kitchen or first home
- Wedding registry item or bridal shower gift for couples
- Christmas or Thanksgiving hostess gift for an entertaining host
- Mother's Day or birthday gift for a home cook or interior design enthusiast
- Realtor closing gift for new homeowners building a natural stone kitchen aesthetic
- Green Onyx — banded amber, cream, and green tones with dramatic natural layering. Best for boho, eclectic, Mediterranean, and nature-forward interiors.
- Beige — warm neutral beige marble with fine natural veining. The most versatile neutral — coordinates with most kitchen and home interior color palettes.
- Cream Onyx — soft cream onyx with warm undertones and subtle banding. Works in warm-neutral, farmhouse, and organic modern interiors.
- White — clean bright white marble with subtle natural marking. Best for minimalist, Scandinavian, and all-white kitchen aesthetics.
- Black — deep black marble with bold white veining. Works in modern, industrial, and high-contrast interiors.
- Oceanic — blue-grey veining on a cream base. Suits coastal, contemporary, and cool-toned kitchen and home interiors.
- Travertine — warm beige-cream sedimentary stone with characteristic natural pitting and earthy texture. Best for farmhouse, organic modern, and Mediterranean aesthetics.
Because each set is carved from genuine natural stone, the exact banding, veining, and tonal variation will differ between individual sets — that natural variation is a feature of real stone.
