I love butter, bells, or butter keepers! This marble version is so good! I love that marble is a natural insulator and stays nice and cool. Keeps the temperature steady. The way that they work is that you put butter into the bell part… You can fit an entire stick of butter. Then you put a little bit of water enough to line the bottom of the container. Then you put the bell back into the container and the water insulates the butter, keeping it Spreadable, but still fresh. You have to change out the water every few days. And then in between sticks, I also like to clean it out. Because it’s marble, I do not put it in the dishwasher… I think detergents and excessive heat are really bad for marble so I hand wash it. It doesn’t take very much water… As a matter fact, if you put too much water in the bottom of the container it will all squish out as soon as you replace it with the bell back in to the jar. They’re easy to use. They’re easy to clean. They’re very effective… I always have spreadable butter that has not gone bad sitting on the counter. It keeps it fresher longer. These are my absolute favorite and I gift them to almost everybody I know. They do a great job and this one is so beautiful. You can leave it out. The butter stay. The butter stay safe to eat. And the marble looks so good. I love this! It’s a great value at this price I would totally buy this as a gift for someone.
I’m almost afraid to use this because it’s so beautiful. It’s incredibly smooth and even with a great marbling. This would make a beautiful housewarming gift for someone and is a much more aesthetic way to keep butter out for people to use. It doesn’t hold a lot only around 1/3 of a cup, but that’s all right for its purpose.
Great size, not too big. Easy on the eyes, other than the box. I am glad I dug through the cardboard and saw how attractive it was. Nice look on a dinner table or a kitchen counter. I am giving it as a present.
This butter keeper is awesome. I can feel the quality of the materials as soon as I put my hand on it. The seal between the two pieces is spectacular, but not so tight that it gets stuck. Easy to load the butter and use it, also very easy to clean. Not my first butter keeper but this is my favorite so far.
