This salt and pepper set is so unbelievably beautiful. The marble is very solid and high quality. The spoons are so useful and just the right size. They go with all of tje decor in my house so well.
The size and design of this salt cellar set is well considered. Not too big, not too small with tops that fit well and store easily. I personally don’t like the shiny finish on this set however. I have the oceanic version, which is quite attractive, but a flat finish would be more to my liking. I do understand why they used a shiny and smooth finish though, to avoid contamination of the natural material. They shiny finish makes the set a little slippery and doesn’t look as high end as it would if a flat finish was used. Overall, a very nice set though!
These look great on my kitchen countertop. I got the "oceanic" and it is a nice color. I love the tray and the lids with the spoon slot. It just looks great overall. I'm not a huge fan of the spoons paired with this set, I feel like they could've found something that matched the set a bit better. For now I'll use them while I find a better set to replace it with. Regardless of the spoons, this is an excellent holder for your salt or whatever you've decided to use these for. I ended up using it to put sugar in one canister and one for the sweet n low packets. It is a great set up for whenever we have friends and family over for coffee, looks very classy.
We have quite a few oceanic marble items in our kitchen and dining room, and these were a perfect new edition. The first impression is that the marble looks mesmerizing as oceanic marble always does. It is a little lighter in color than our other oceanic marble pieces, but still the same hue. I love all of the details in stone, they are amazing to look at up-close and from a distance. All of the pieces are well-made and fit perfectly together. I did notice that the bottom doesn't have the usual padded feet and so the set does pivot on its center. However, I am adding my own foam padding to the four corners and solving this. Everything is beautifully polished except for the cut away piece where the spoon sits. By the way, the spoons look and feel great; very solid and shiny.
This set of two marble salt cellars (bowl and lid), two spoons, and a plate are beautiful, substantial and of decent size. These are ideal for storing salt, sugar, or other high use spices table-side. Due to the cut out in the marble for the spoons to rest, these salt cellars are not moisture proof. This set would make a great gift set for newly weds or a house warming gift.
