This set is heavy and looks really nice on my kitchen table. Having the coordinating holder is very useful. The coasters have a nice thickness to them and are padded on the bottom, this is a nice set
These coasters are very solid and have a good weight to them. The travertine is attractive and classy at the same time, and they have a cork bottom which prevents your drink from slipping. I like that they have a ridge around the outside to keep your drink stable and keep any extra liquids inside the coaster. They are not really absorbent though, which is something that's preferable for a coaster. I plan to use these on my back deck as the weight of them will prevent them from blowing away. I really like the holder that comes with them as well, and the coasters fit in it perfectly. Good set, I'm glad I got them!
Coasters a little on the thinner side but I live that each one has a felt bottom. I also like the clear coat which reduces the chalkiness you get from travertine.
