Beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous! In the light, you can see tons of different colours and different directions. Very pretty.
This scalloped travertine stone decorative bowl is so beautiful. It's earthy and rustic. I love the carved scalloped fluted edges, they look like ruffles. The rim of the bowl is uneven but I think it adds to its handcrafted natural charm. The bottom is flat so it stands still, does not wobble, and is not at risk of toppling over. The bottom is also covered with a circle of velvety material to protect surfaces from the stone bowl. I've been eyeing a larger more refined marble version from CB2 but have not pull the trigger to splurging on it. I've seen less expensive molded concrete versions but they don't have the natural stone appeal. This one is priced right and satisfies my love of stone.
When not in use, it tucks perfectly into my glass door cabinet and looks wonderful on display. This will definitely tide me over until the I decide to treat myself to the marble bowl... Or maybe I won't ever have to now that I have this beautiful bowl. Thirst for carved scalloped fluted stone bowl... Quenched!!!
I absolutely love this decorative bowl!
Not only is it handmade of great quality, thick & durable material but it is functional as well.
I currently have this bowl on our entry way table that I've been using for my keys and it has been so convenient to just grab them on my way out while the bowl itself also being aesthetically pleasing.
I wouldn't say it is large enough to use as a fruit bowl unless there are other size options but it is great for plenty of other items nonetheless.
Love, love, love this! It would make a great gift as well.
